The best birds that I have are the MAGIC line birds from Gust Jansen.

1. Gust Jansen - The basis of the Gust's birds is from 2 daughters of the nest brother of the Oileman from Jos Van der Veken. He also had birds from Louis van Hove - Merkplas, Gust Van Hove - Retie, Gebr. Van Hove - Beerse, Frans Van Beirendonck,  Dirk Van Dijck - Zandhoven and lastly from Hermans-Ceusters.

People that were successful with Gust birds are Leo Hermans - Vorselaar, Willem de Bruijn - Reeuwijk, Ad Schaerlaeckens - Baarle Nassau, Lai Ming - China, Jespers-Van der Wegen - Holsbeek, Hermans Lenaerts - Merksplas, had 36 x 1e in 2009, 32 x 1e on 2006, 32 x 1e in 2005, 29 x 1e in 2010, thanks to Gust birds. Also successful were: Maes-Stevens - Beerse, Cis Jansen - Mindrhout, Charel Van Hullebusch - Beerse, Jos De Swert - Kessel, Nand Van Looy - Beerse, Leo Stevens - Kalmthout, Johan Donckers - Grobbendonk, and in Germany: Bruno Escherich - Bad Koningshofen, Wolfgand Roeper, Hermann Schreiner - Lichtenfels, Hagedorn Becker, in Holland: Fam. Eijerkamp - Zutphen, Ype Hemstra (Team GPS), Kas Meijers - Ootmarsum, Gebr. Van Toor - Vlaardingen etc...

The gust birds have crossed well for me with 019, Klak, Leo Van Rijn, Ad Schaerlaeckens, and Vercammen birds, therefore I gave them the name of MAGIC line.

My best breeding Gust bird for me is 03-Belg-978, which mated with a grandson of 019 bred the 1st Average Speed Winner at Americas King Cup in 2005. I got 50 birds from Gust starting in 2003 - 10, 2004 - 10, 2005 - 20, 2011 -5 birds. From the 50 birds 3-4 birds are excellent breeders, 03-978, 05-432, 05-401, 04-639, 04-659 and a few good breeders... 

Olympiad was the best racer that Gust ever had.

He was Olympiad Bird  Snelheld Lievin 2002 and 2nd National Ace Pigeon - Short Distance KDBD 2002.

Peggy was a super racer winning 3 X 1st as a young bird. She also bred 3 Provincial Ace Pigeons. She is the mother to the daughter of the Olympiad that I have 05-Belg-401, a SuperBreeder as well.

Peggy bred: Dubbele As 616-04, 1e Asduif 2005 and 1e Asduif 2006, Janine 1st Asduif 2006 and Eurodisney  1e Asduif 2008.

 

2. Hok Jos Vercammen

The Panter from 1986 was the founding bird of the Vercammen loft. He he beat the Vercammen birds a few times, Vercammen decided to buy him and stop losing the races!
